Who we are
PawShift is made by Kayra Namlı. This policy says what the app stores, why, who else sees it, and how to have it deleted. Questions go to [email protected]; pawshift.app/support has answers to the common ones.
What we store
Your sign-in: the email address you sign in with, or the one Sign in with Apple shares (which can be a private relay address), and an account ID.
What you add to your household: your name, colour and drawn avatar; the household’s name; your pets with their names, looks and the emergency card you fill in (vet, clinic, chip, birthday, allergies, insurance); the chores with their times and notes; who did each one and when; the notes you add to a finished chore.
Photos you add to a pet or a chore stay on your phone. They are not uploaded.
We do not use advertising, tracking or analytics, and we do not sell anything about you.
Why
Only to run the app: to sign you in, to show everyone in your household the same board, and to remind you of chores.
Kids
Children never get an account. A parent can add a kid profile, which is a name, a colour and an avatar the parent chooses, and records chores for it. We do not collect anything from children themselves.
Who else sees it
The people in your household see what is on its board, as the app shows it.
Supabase hosts our database and sign-in, and stores the household’s data for us.
The pet assistant, on the paid plans, sends your question with your pets’ details and routines to Anthropic, which writes the answer. It asks before the first question. Under Anthropic’s terms for businesses, these requests are not used to train its models.
Apple handles Sign in with Apple and, once plans can be bought, the payment. We never see your card.
How long, and deleting it
We keep your data while your account exists. Settings → Delete account deletes your sign-in and your member profile at once. Chores you did stay in the household’s history as done by “a former member”. If you were the last grown-up in the household, the whole household and everything in it is deleted.
Signing out removes the household and its photos from your phone. A few small notes the phone keeps for itself stay until you delete the app, such as its colour theme and which cards you have already seen.
Your rights
Wherever you live, you can ask to see, correct, export or delete what we hold about you, and to object to how it is used; in the EU and UK under the GDPR, and in Türkiye under the KVKK. Most of it you can change or delete in the app yourself; for anything else, write to [email protected].
Changes
If this policy changes, the app shows the new version here with its date before the change applies.
